Is there any benefit to putting this in a 5 speed? I am not racing this one, but it tows hard everytime it moves.

I put it in my 5 speed and highly recommend it. U want the full trasgo though. Not just the jr. U will have to take the tranny out of the truck. Tear down your c2 clucth pack to drill a couple holes and also put a new cage of springs in the bottom. Put it back together take the VB out and drill a couple holes and put a new spring and check vavle in place. My 5 speed has held up to very hot tunes. Actaully the same one larry has in his 04 right now with no problems. It pulls 38 psi of boost and runs 13.20's all day @ 105 mph if only i could get it to hook i see 12's U will blow threw the converter before u hurt the ally with the transgo in it. Im on my 3rd converter
Keep in mind my converters are bad because of sled pulling not because of racing. Thats why i found a new hobby
I have the full kit in my 02. I am just looking for a little boost for towing. I am not taking the tranny out yet, as it is still under warranty and not a racer. If it will help some I will take the pan off. If not the pan stay's on.
