Hello all, I'm new here. I've got a 2004 2500HD with 116xxx miles on the truck, roughly 15k on the Motor. The replacement motor is a reman from GM and runs like a raped date. I have EFI Live by Duramax Tuner ( DSP5 ) and run the truck on " sport " mode ( +80 HP ) and switch to the tow tunes when necessary. After the motor swap, I decided to go balls to the wall with freshening the truck up ( it sat for a year ). Upon freshening up I decided to change the transfer case fluid. Stupidly I removed the bolt on the bottom of the transfer case with the spring and sleeve following it. Figured no problem and put it back in there. The truck ran fine before I did this. Now it pops out of reverse and if you give it the juice once in a while it'll go into limp mode. Spin on filter was changed on the Trans but I've yet to do a Trans flush. Any insite on the part of the transfer case that I took out ? Maybe the spring has to be reinstalled with the truck in neutral ? I'm at a loss. Any help is appreciated !! The parts I'm describing are 14, 15, and 16 in the image. Should also mention I put a new NSBU switch on as well as the ignition switch in the steering column.
