Transfer case fluid

Broke my drive shaft and going to drain and refill case wn I install the new one. What's everyone running and how much 09lmm electric shift auto tcase

I don't know if this works with an lmm but I used 30W synthetic motor oil in my LBZ case.

5w-30 3 qts

ATF would be best unless you have evap issues and don't ever check your fluid level, then full syn 5w-30 would be next

I just put ATF in cause I had to fill my trans anyways. Dd I would probably use oil like everyone else said.

I run ATF. A few months ago I finally installed the pump rub kit that I've had laying around for 3 years. 160k miles on my transfer case, and it looked perfect inside.

Lmm uses ATF, all the older trucks use the 88861800 manual trans/ transfer case fluid
