Trans relearn?

How long does it take a trans to relearn after loading in a hotter tune? Also what is the recommended procedure, how hard to run it?

The trans is acting different, acting as though it is in tow/haul at times and not coming back to idle, I figure it is relearning the power.

Should I have reset anything in the trans tuning or put it into fast learn mode? I am new to tuning and didn't want to screw anything up.

To shorten that RELEARN I would swap to an 01 TCM

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't put the tcm in a fast learn mode, I guess that would speed it up some. In fact I didn't change anything in the tcm, I was curious if I should adjust anything i.e. shift points etc.

Depends what your trying to do some shift at 3600 3650 3700 and other personal preferences. An 01 TCM Learns a lot faster than an 03. Did you reset your TAPs?

No I did not reset my TAPs. What does that do specifically? I guess I should have asked these questions before tuning.
