trans relearn

I m thinkin about doin a trans relearn on my 06 lbz. is there anything special to doing it or a right way to break the relearn in? I heard you can mess up your tranny by doing a relearn? thanks

Sound like you need to think about a transmission build start by calling the number at the bottom of Mike L's post above.. With 37s even mild tunes can kill an Allison...

will a relearn hurt though? I got a trans go jr kit for it and was goin to install it this week along with new lines

Waste of time not required for the Trans-go Jr. install but will be needed for a full build.

ok so the only time you relearn is when its a built tranny? no need to do it for tire change or different gears or a bigger tune?

If you do a relearn for a bigger tune, it will take longer to learn the tune because you diverge all the shifts and it will start at zero.
