I was out on the road doing a data log of my truck I got to the end of third and bumped to 4th and it grabbed for a second then free rev. It was quite noisy when I coasted to a stop, would not drive forward or back. I shut it off and tried to figure out where the noise was coming from, restarted and its noisy in park or neutral now but when I put it in gear the noise goes away and it moves now, does not seem to slip. I did load it up a little bit to see. The noise is coming from the rear of the trans, any ideas? I know I am going to have to drop it I just wasnt sure if anyone had something like this happen to them or not. Last weekend I twisted a drive shaft in half sledpulling. I just want to know what I am going to need to fix this thing. Its a suncoast stage 5 with a BD high stall converter
