I haven't posted on here in awhile but I need some help. I'm replacing the trans cooler lines on my mother in laws 2000 silverado 2500 w/ the 6.0 and have a hiccup. I replaced the lines one at a time so I wouldn't get them mixed up but the new lines are different than the original (new are dorman). It seems by the length of the lines, that they need to be switched on the radiator. The line that goes from the radiator to the external cooler (bottom port on the radiator) is longer than the original, and the line that goes from the trans to the radiator (top port) is shorter. BUT if I switch them, it's like it's meant to be because they're the perfect length. Is it ok to switch them, or is it going to mess with how it cools?
Thanks in advance!
