I've been tweaking the shift points w/ EFI Live and have two questions related to hardware and TCM. I've run out of help on the EFI Live web site.
1. I seem to have found some limit in hardware or software to the 2-1 downshift. My goal is to carry 2nd gear to slower speeds at low throttle openings when slowing down for turns, rolling thru stop signs, etc. just like you would with a standard shift but, I still get the downshift above programmed speed which is now down to zero. It usually happens just as I touch the throttle to maintain speed. Any ideas why?
2. Is there any downside to programming TC lockup at slower speeds say in 4th gear? It would result in more TC lock apply/disengage cycles but is that significant?
