Yesterday I was driving down the road and it felt like it was stuck in 3rd gear so I stopped and cleared the codes so I could make it home (about 2 miles away). When I tried to take off it fell on its face 3 times in a row. When it finally decided to go it felt like it was stuck in 2nd. So I just decided to take it easy and drive on to the house. By the time I got there the transmission gauge hit 300 degrees. I checked the codes and I had P0840, P0842, and P0845. Here recently it's been having weird shifts and getting stuck in what feels like 4th and I would get the P0776 code. This would only happen when the trans warmed up. This is a suncoast transmission with a ppe converter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The trans has about 30k. The convertor is supposed to have about 1k miles on it. It was built by a local guy at the time. The truck was a daily driver. Now just a toy and something to drive when need to. It's the truck in my sig.

Then it's not a Suncoast trans. Pull your sump filter and open it to see what's in there. Those are valve body codes.

Sorry should have been more specific it's built with suncoast parts. I'll pull the pan anch check out the valve body as soon as I have an empty lift.

Nope sure haven't. Just been driving. Actually just grandpa driving it back and forth between farms while mowing hay. May roll into it a little to hear the turbos but no more than that.

I'll check the valve body, change filters and fluid. If that doesn't help I'll pull it out and have it checked out

I dropped the pan to inspect the valve body tonight and everything looked good other than what was on the magnet on the pan. You can see it in the picture. It went directly in the middle of the manifold pressure switch.

I actually bout the trans already built from a close friend that needed the money but the guy that built it his name was Zach Tarkington. What I think is weird about it is that I dropped the pan before install to just kinda look over everything and it was not like this. I've only put maybe 1000 miles on it since I installed it and haven't drove it hard other than a day on the dyno and this just came out of nowhere.

I'm assuming by debris you mean the black material in the pan? So I guess I need to look into rebuilding it? I've been driving it to see if I get any codes back or to see if it acts up and haven't had any trouble since last nights work but I also have just been driving. Haven't got into it any.
