LLY: Trans cooler....

NEED INPUT:
2004 LLY: Broke fitting off transmission oil cooler.
I am not pulling or hauling anything. Thinking bout putting bypass line in place of cooler until new cooler is delivered. Any advice?

Thanks for the response. Not planning on typical hose clamp. Will use a transmission hose. Mainly concerned for over heating transmission. New part won't be here for a few days. It is my only vehicle.

I wouldn't trust the factory radiator to do 100% of the cooling.

Personally I'd rent a little sh!t-box for 25 a day before chancing a 5k+ trans.

Watch the trans temp gauge and you will be fine. Keep it below 200F. If it goes over it will have a hell of a time trying to cool off.
