I had to get these pics up so y'all could see some strange breakage:eek:
The kid who previously owned this truck told us little about the events that led up to this damage. Upon inspection in person, Josh H and I were shocked and both agreed neither of us have seen anything like this. Feel free to speculate what y'all think may have happened here.

Worn crossmember/trans mount would be my first guess but damn! What was he doing when this happened?

He said he came out of a store, heard a loud crack while exiting the parking lot, stopped and saw a crack in the bell housing. Called for a tow and the rest of the cracking and carnage happened in tow transit. We are currently looking for a good used 6 speed to throw in or just have Josh build this one and replace the bell housing. I'm really curious to know wether the internals are compromised or not. Lot of built transmissions out there with hard parts from cores that were involved in wrecks n such.

I'd like to know what kind of abuse the truck has seen. Find me one of these wrecked/built transmissions lol

I fixed a 03 that broke the rear cover in three places by putting it in 4 low in a bad bind with a broken trans mount

Rear adapters seem to break frequently. I've never seen a bellhousing crack almost all the way around like this. The good news is, like Devin mentioned, we bought the truck cheap enough to cover these repairs....assuming the motor is fine:D and ill get pics of the truck up here in a bit.
