LB7: Trans build; other parts needed

Is a socal flexplate a must have for a stock turbo lb7? Or is there a hp threshold when you must run one? Planning on leaving the motor stock. Running a big tune. Also is a c3 oiler a good idea? I don't drag race, it will be a street truck not a quarter mile drag truck.

I'll be ordering a kit soon, trying to get an idea of what else I need for the build.

I would imagine your rods will get awfully short before you break your flexplate. And the C3 oiler is nice, but not required.

As long as there is no disadvantage to the c3 oiler I think I'll do that. Any mods regarding the transfer case? Is the brace necessary? Pump rub I will probably do

I'd probably do the brace, and def the pump rub fix. I think the C3 oiling mod may take some line pressure away someone once told me. Dont quote me on that tho..
