i just put a trans blanket on my truck but the only problem i ran into was the front driveshaft hoops are so close to the trans i couldn't get the blanket between the hoops and blanket is it ok to go out and around the driveshaft and hoops? or should i do something about the hoops?

I wouldn't go around the driveshaft. Mines a really tight fit and I had to move my shields a little bit but it should work. I'm guessing there shouldn't be much differnece in years of trucks.

I have the same blanket, my shaft actually just barely touches it in 2 places. I was told the thin tin like covering on that side of the blanket was to protect it from rubbing. Been on two years with no issues.
