to give some history,
broke input shaft, fixed
broke output, fixed
twisted hub in turbine in converter, fixed
started leaking fluid out of bellhousing after a month, pulled trans had converter checked it was good checked all the bolts and put new seal leak stopped for a few weeks.
then starts leaking bad almost pouring, pulled tranny had converter checked again(good) pulled bellhousing and pump. replaced pump seal glued all bolts new bushing and seal. starts pouring on test drive.
I don't know what to do, there are no shops around me that do alli. tranny has gmax 5 kit with 1058 converter.

The bolts for the pump have black rubber washer/o ring things around the bolt heads. The bolts for the bell housing itself do not and are supposed to have a bit of silicone applied around the bolt head. I could be waaaay of base here but perhaps your bolts with the rubber around them got mixed up and used in the wrong holes?

If it leaks that bad, bolts aren't his problem. Shouldn't need sealant behind bell housing bolts, just the pump bolts. (Unless they got mixed up like Dbush said)

My guess would've been that the bushing was worn and tearing up the front seal, but you said that got replaced. Maybe the pump housing has a crack in it???

Can you see the general area that the fluid is coming from?

trans was built when I bought truck, Fleece did all the work. A buddy that works at a local trans shop helped me change input and output and he put all the bolts back where they came from and glued them. I don't think its the bolts because last time i put a seal in it and it stopped for a month. But I am no tranny guy and Don't know what else to do but have gotten pretty good at pulling trans by myself 5 times and counting. lol

fluid is coming from the top/back of the inspection window at about a couple drips a second at idle in park.

Converter builders normaly cannot supply more than 90 psi pressure to test. Sometimes that's not enough to find a crack in the converter.

Bring it up, we'll take a look at it. It was refreshed in July of 2012. But sounds like you've been pretty hard on it sense then.

I put a new bushing in it didn't help. The one that came out looked new. Has anyone had a bell housing leak? Or a pump housing ?

Would love to bring it up Caleb but I am 7 hours away. Lol DPC not sure about the defuel I guess the almost 900 hp and stock shafts had a lot to do with it.

MikeL I am going to try and heat the converter up and test it. I am willing to try anything. If I could find a used bell housing I would get it also if I can't find the leak.
