So at some point this year I am hoping to be moving to Southern Alberta. My thought was to buy a trailer, load up my belongings, unload them at destination and sell trailer. Instead of renting a UHaul and loosing the rental money plus gas. So I have been looking at them for the last several months just trying to learn about them. What do you guys think about this trailer? Junk? Good deal? Just looking for thoughts.

Pulling an enclosed is like a giant parachute behind your truck. Plus they are not as easy to sell, at least in my area. It took me 3 months to sell my 12ft and I had to drop the price all the way to 1000. They are nice to have though. I don't have a garage so I use my 18ft as a mobile garage/storage.

Talked to my father in law about it this past summer and he said in that area "cheap American trailers sell fast". Not sure if I was supposed to be happy about that statement or offended!

If you have a lot of heavy stuff, I'd recommend you looking for a triple axle trailer. I did the same thing as you did, bought a 35' tandem axle trailer and towed it from AZ to MA. Sold the trailer when I was done moving. I wish I had a triple axle to begin with, it would made my trip safer.
