Well, it's not final yet. But the time is approaching. May be joining the diesel club sooner than later. I'll be sad to see my car go..especially looking at the pictures as I'm posting this.

But in return it seems as though i'll be getting a pretty clean truck.

Truck has 170k miles, recently built transmission (with 2 year warranty), full MBRP exhaust, aftermarket intake, nothing fancy. Running on a stock tune currently. Checked it out the other night and its quite clean, nice leather interior, drives nicely. Balance rates are all -/+ 2.

Definitely plan on changing a few things on the truck to give it my own touch, but overall it's pretty straight.

Any thoughts and input would be appreciated.

Thanks man. Very nice, the newer generation WRX/STI has grown on me.

I'll miss it but there's always more cars out there!

Definitely sad to have to get rid of a nice car like and be stuck driving a big truck. But, if you have a change in your life that requires you to tow and/or haul heavy then you gotta do what you gotta do. Every once in awhile I get to take my wife's car to the job if I'm not towing or hauling something and man what a joy it is to drive a car, especially one with a manual transmission. Not trying to rub your nose in the fact that you have to get rid of your car, I'm just saying I feel for ya man. Hopefully you can get back into something fun to drive soon!

I don't necessarily HAVE to get rid of it. Just wanna try something different I think. My other vehicle is a lifted Tacoma so now I'll just have two bulky rigs to drive around haha.

I've always liked diesels, they were just never on my radar or something I was actively seeking to get into once the car sold. The deal came up and I was intrigued so I might as well give it a shot. The upside is the truck actually books for a bit more than the car does. So if I don't like it chances are I will easily get my money back out of it, and maybe even a little extra.

The manual transmission in the Subaru and the pops and burbles from rev-matched downshifts will be missed very much that's for sure haha.
