Traded in my wife's 2011 Tahoe. We really liked it, but we needed extra cargo room. Since we'll soon have a soccer team.

Bought a 2012 dealer demo! The owner of the dealership was driving it! Had 6800 miles at time of purchase! It's an LTZ in mocha steel metallic! Every option except the power steps!

Window tint sometime this week, gonna order husky mats tonight, and it'll get some 22's and the drop kit that I removed from the Tahoe!!

What drop kit areyou gonna use? I wanna lower my wife's but I don't want to not be able to load up the family and hook up the boat. Does lowering affect towing?

Thanks guys!

Yeah. Texas Chevy. I have the belltech drop kit! It's spindles up front and springs with shock ext out back! It would affect towing, but you can always put bags. They fit inside the coil springs! Lots of people over on the tahoeyukonforum have lowered rigs and tow every weekend with zero problems. Also if you have auto ride, it should compensate for the load!

If you have any ?'s about that I'd be glad to help you. Just give me a shout!

New wheels and drop kit! I've adjusted the rear since this picture! It was about 1/4" lower out back, but it now sits level!!

Suburbans are way more practical

With the tahoe you have a choice between people and cargo with the suburban you can have your cake and eat it too fuel mileage is the same

Just did the same also. 2011 tahoe traded for the 2012 suburban the dealer drove around in. Got a steal on it. Dressed like a ltz but its a lt and four wheel drive. I love the space compare to the tahoe.

Installed a new exhaust tip! This removed that ugly ass resonator you can see from behind!

Ya my wife drives a 2009 suburban LTZ a little. We use it mainly for trips & call it the Grizwald mobile.... They are awesome for loading up on a road trip! :thumb:
