curious about how adding airbags and removing a leaf or 2 will effect my traction.....

i currently just have clamps but if i install the bags and remove the leafs they would have to go...not sure on the effect this will have...your thoughts?

Despite the time in my sig my truck is 4x4 and ive been racing it that way since i de-lifted it a few months ago....usually can pull 1.8x 60's

thanks

I know you will get alot softer ride with the removed springs... Then you can pump the bags up when you want... Alot of fast truck's have removed airbags... Casper has only one but I'm not sure if thats setup for land speed racing or whatever... Trent I believe only 2

yea what im going for is the improved ride....

i know with cal tracs it wouldn't be a problem but im worried about axle wrap due to lack of clamps...

I probably wouldn't do any big launch's but I may be very wrong but I think having the truck in 4wd will save the rear axle from trying to rap up on you. Because the front end would be pulling too It's hard to explain why I figure that though lol

I would wait and do the bags and caltracs or trac bars at the same time. Then you wouldn't have to worry about axle wrap when you take out some springs.

i gotcha....well i really like the big launches:)

One of the main things im worried about is loosing traction at the back and over stressing the front diff and kablamo.... and with just poor 60' times in general..

maybe ill have to hold off till i get bars:(
