I dont tow very much, but today I did. I have no idea what the tractor, shredder and trailer weighed so you'll have to guess, I could tell it was behind me though.
The 1st 2 pics are from this morning with outside temp around 50 degrees. I had been pulling for about 5 minutes on the highway and probably 10 minutes in town stop & go traffic. Middle gauge is boost and bottom is pyro. The left scan guage is reading Maf LBS on top and rail pressure on bottom and the right side gauge is reading ECT on top and IAT on bottom. The pic of the tractor shows the 1st flat of the day. The second flat came 20 minutes later, I had just enough time to plug the tire and get it on the trailer with barely enough air to keep from seperating from the rim again. The next 2 pics are of the truck and trailer, I guess it weighs a little as it is squatting my truck more so than the white truck that got towed yesterday ;).

The next 2 guage pics are going home with the outside temp showing 81 on the mirror and about 3 miles into the trip home. Going home was slightly uphill which is hopefully what the last pic shows.

So, you people who tow a lot, are My EGT's, IAT's and ECT's seem improved over not having the stack seal and nose shroud, or does it seem that they are indeed helping.

My big fan never came on at all the whole trip until I made it back to town and got in stop and go traffic this afternoon.

My transmission temp was reading about 170 - 180 degrees on the factory gauge this afternoon.

EGT's seemed to stay around 900 - 950 degrees, and never got above 1200 degrees on accelerating.

All gauge shots are with the cruise control set at about 68 mph.

I don't really tow much either, but the last time I did my numbers were all about the same as what you are getting.

10k trailer
50-60 degrees
850-950 EGT
150 trans
70 mph

I however don't have any cooling mods other than the AFE intake and water wetter. If I towed a bunch and more in the summer, I'd look into it.

Those are Aeroforce scan gauges. Very nice but I had trouble getting one to work with my LBZ. Company was excellent to deal with.
