i have a question about trailer length while towing. i know the longer the truck the better and all that good stuff. how ever, i'm working with my tahoe here. i have towed a 30' alumalite camper with no problems. not a bit of sway and between the trailer brakes and the turbo 5.3 it pulled and stopped very nice. so here is the deal, my wife wants a jeep for off road fun and i want to build a buggy for the kids to play in. not a huge buggy, a little 4 cyl powered buggy. but instead of trying to get the jeep to tow that and the quad. i would rather get a trailer to just tow it all behind the tahoe. i found kuafman has a 34' bumper pull trailer that would work nicely. would this be "too long" or would it be ok since its not a huge broad sided camper? i do have a weight distributing hitch. also would a dully type tandem axle be better for anti sway than a srw tandem?
