Ok I have an 02 lb7 and I would like to get a set of tow mirrors for it. The original mirrors make it hard to see when I'm towing my boat or trailer because there so small. So this brings me to my questions for u guys... I'm having difficulty finding some mirrors that are power adjusted but aren't heated or have the turn signals in them because my factory mirrors are not heated an they don't have the turn signal in them.. So what are my options here can I use any of these or am I the only person with this problem? My truck is the LT an it's fully loaded but doesn't have a button for heated mirrors. And it would also like to color match them to the truck but all the mirrors I've seen are textured. Is that what u guys r using when u color match or r u using something different? Basically what r my options an what would u guys do in my shoes? An if it all possible I don't wanna completely break the bank doing so.. Any help would be great

Look at your current mirrors and see if it has a symbol or something on them to say they are heated. Some of them turned the heat on when you switched the A/C to defrost. As for whic mirrors, I have the ones from Ebay like those that came on the 06+ trucks. They're manual extending, power, but nothing else. They work OK, but the drawback to them is they vibrate a bit, and they have that goofy glass in the passenger that makes things appear normal size which drastically narrows your field of view out the passenger mirror.

if im not mistaken the heat turns on with the rear window derfost and have to make sure u get some mirrors for a 01-02 because the harness on them are shorter than the 03 and up trucks

Ok that's starting to make more sense. My drivers side mirror has the heated symbol on it but not the passenger. So I was wondering if at one point a previous owner ripped it off an just put on what they could find. I will look into those.. As far as color match r u guys using plasti dip or going to the dealer for paint?
