Allison 5sp: Tow Haul mode not working

Anyone have an issue with their tow haul mode not engaging when selected? There are no CEL and the Manual mode works fine shifting through gears. Tow haul mode button just whacky?

I had the wire break in the shifter column on my 01 and tow haul quit working. Not sure if the design/wiring would be the same tho.

It's a flimsy orange wire, very common issue

I've fixed a few on lmm n lmls and it was the wires in the column.

Same here, broken orange wire in the column. Right near the tilt knuckle.

Same on my lb7. Pretty easy fix. But a bit of a pain to get fingers in there and crispers if I remember correctly
