TOTAL PEST CONTROL-Tossing around an idea

Got Honey?
The real question is, is there a desire for this?

I started going down the road to get a controller made for water injection, then it occured to me: why buy a whole system each time you want to add some kind of performance device, say WI, lift pump, nitrous, propane...

Why not just one controller that would do ALL of them if you wanted...all individually controlled based on 4 or 5 engine sensor inputs: ECT, MAP, EGT, TPS, IAT etc.

----Want fast spoolup? Pre-compressor water mist or nitrous on at 2 psi (and only above 32 F IAT), then shut off at 20 psi ...goodbye turbo lag.

----Want modulated N2O at TPS greater than 95% and modulated with MAF greater than 30 lb/min? again, programmed and automatic.

----Need the lift pump on only when TPS exceeds 80%?

----Want to be sure that the nitrous is killed if EGT exceeds 1700 F or MAF drops below 50 lb/min...automatic, again by virtue of user friendly programming.

----Want to be sure post-CAC water is injected if EGT exceeds 1400F, AND MAF exceeds 30 lb/min?

----Want a fan to come on if ECT exceeds 230 and MAP exceeds ...ad infinitum.

A basic setup would include controller, relays, solenoids, wiring, for one operation, and then additional (affordable) modules could be purchased to expand. Start with water, then add...whatever you want to actuate with defined conditons from the above engine parameters. Could even make the horn sound at threshhold EGT, or kill the lift pump above certain known danger zones.

Any thoughts on this?

-Want spoolup pre-compressor water mist at 5 psi and only above 32 F IAT, ...automatic.

-Want N2O at TPS of 95% and MAP greater than 40 psi? again, programmed and automatic.

-Need the lift pump on only when TPS exceeds 80%? Simple

-Want to be sure that the nitrous is killed if EGT exceeds 1700 F...automatic, again by virtue of user friendly programming.

-want to be sure post-CAC water is injected if EGT exceeds 1400F? Could even modulate on how much it rises above 1400F

Each would be switchable, so N2O doesn't activate while towing, for example.

I like this approach. Touch board simple on off would be easy. Sounds good.

could you also make this to switch Dsp tunes via TP?

I like the idea of being able to add onto a existing piece of equipement instead of 4 different controllers

In a word, yes. I'd consider paying up to ~500 for something clean and user friendly.

faster spool up would be great for my aurora 5k, especially in traffic situations. "If ben builds it...we will buy it"

I will start testing this early next week. Seems like a smart way to centralize all these 12V add-ons. Brandon will get to play locally, it's a nice time here to use water/meth.

I am also researching the use of this controller for an EV fan clutch. Of course, I don't know if it is practical. But I sure would l;ove to dump this old fan clutch, for one that comes on when I say. ECT GT 220 OR...IAT GT 80 AND RPM LT 1200

Same fan logic could be an idle AC helper/CAC staging precooler-adding external misters that come on simultaneously also...)

This could also be used as a boost fooler, supplying a lower 5V signal in place of the given.

I would like to hear what you would use it for. Almost anything is possible.
