I used the search option but couldn't locate the thread. What exactly does it take to mount the TopKick manifolds on a Silverado? Is this a good option?

A few guys have done it , and have had good things to say about the results . If i remember right the fire wall had to be " adjusted " a bit with a hammer though :D .

Gotta Beat the firewall back. There are other options avalable too. ATS has cast manifolds out, while ProFab (not the dropbox guys) also have cast manifolds with up pipes.

How many people have actually put medium duty manifolds on both sides?

Steve Ford has the driver's side on. He said he would have to tweak the Downpipe to make the pass side work. I am sure he will chime in.

The reason I ask is because I put them on my motor, and I had to modify the dipstick tube to put the passenger's side on. I was just wondering if anyone else experienced this, and if so, what did they do? I had read that several people had put them on, but I hadn't read that anyone else had that problem. Just wondered if it was one of those things that isn't really as popular as everyone is led to believe.
