Toolboxes and 5th Wheels

Im looking at getting a toolbox for my truck and I'm wondering since I have a short box, do I need a low profile over the rail, a standard height over the rail (will it clear on hard maneuvers with a slider hitch), or an in-bed chest?

My old man has an in bed one in his, but from when I've seen his Jayco hooked up, an over rail would clear, just not sure by how much.

I would go in bed....
