Got back to the track tonight.

Made a best pass of 8.52 @ 80.50 MPH

.854 R/T
1.829 60FT
5.462 330FT
7.969 594 FT

8.528 1/8 ET

80.50 MPH

Made 6 passes with 8.8 being my worst, 2 more passes in the 8.5's, and the rest was 8.6's, and 8.7's.

Big Thanks goes out to Jim for the sleeves, one pass I boosted up and the track official said my wheels was shaking bad. I hopped bad as I could tell it.

Also, JoshH, the tuning was great, he reworked a tune for me and it seems to pull hard. Thanks a million Josh and everyone here for the tips and info!!

Next, trans goes in a couple of weeks, then a lift pump, and different tuning to put the fuel to it. I'm just hazing down the track.

Overall, this isn't bad for a stock trans, as I've BEAT this thing. No limps YET.

This is a run of my 8.6, camera guy rode with me for the most night so this is the only video I got.

Glad it worked out for you. Looks like a good run. How hard were you launching? Any wheel spin? Might be able to get a little more out of it if you can drop down to a mid-low 1.7 60'. Were you able to get any logs?

On my best run Josh it was right around 2K RPMS. I launched around ~2300 or so and I wheel hopped bad, bad enough I thought I was going to break something. That lead me to a bad ET since I didn't get going good enough. Wheel spin was little or nothing, hooked up good.

I ran full trim, spare, tailgate, backseat, everything...

I've attached a log.

I bet your front end was having some craziness going on on the pass you hopped, maybe even a little bit of spin. Did you have the front end lowered all the way? If not, that should help smooth it out some. Definitely room for improvement if you wanted to go to the trouble to strip it.

Oh, the log looks incomplete.

All my logs aren't complete for some reason.??? Don't know what happen. Just figured that one out.

I bet it was to, it felt bad to say the least

My bar have 3-5 turns at most on them, nothing to much I don't think.

Oh well, based on your logs from the other tune, you should be holding rail pressure really well now.

Anyway, nice runs, and congrats on the new best time! :driving:

Nice job man. A lift pump and drop some weight should help you out as well!!

I'm very happy for right now.

I want to get the trans in and I'll be in the market for some tuning and the lift pump.

There was a built Camaro running a 8.2 that night that wasn't very happy with me for some reason.. Maybe I can take care of him the next time. :D

several stock trans trucks have ran 12's... but with race valve/shim and lift pump.

So, maybe my lift pump is my killer on times then?

:(:(:(

very possible... When i fried the relay on my lift pump under WOT my truck blew NO smoke and felt like a 14 second truck. Lift Pump's are key. Russ (RPM Motorsports) ran a 12.5 with his lift pump turned off... that same night he ran a few 11.9x's with his on. so you are def. hurting yourself without a lift pump. Someone has 2 PPE Lift Pumps for sale here for cheap... I suggest you pick one up then run again.
