To be fair, I was at the Mid-Ohio ALMS/Indy race last year in torrential rain. The "racing" sucked and had to be called in at least one class that I recall. But this was when the track was literally a river.

Otherwise, this is a funny thread....:thumb:

Kyle Busch can wheel a car. He is a far cry from the steering wheel holders that make up the majority of NASCAR anymore.

Dale Earnhardt :thumb:

Even though I never got to see him run, Tim Richmond could drive the wheels off a car.

Kyle Busch is a freaking joke. He is a good driver, but he really needs to grow up. I think this is a pretty good indicator of the type of driver he is.

And for all the NASCAR haters... :2birds:

I'd put Kyle up against any other driver, now or in the past. Dude can make a car/truck do stuff the other guys don't have the balls to do.

I'm not a fan of his, but he's one of the better if not best wheelmen out there.

I appreciate the humor in the picture. It's pretty damn funny and clever

But I have to say racing is racing. And in any of the professional games they take it to the limit. Any of us would be pooping our pants doing what nascar, or any of them do.

The thing I like about NASCAR that you don't really get in other racing is tight racing. In most other forms of racing, the cars get all spread out, and you end up just watching cars go around the track. Sure, most of the NASCAR racing is going around a circle, but to me the entertainment comes from watching the drivers battling against each other literally wheel to wheel and bumper to bumper. I can't imagine the skill necessary to do that kind of driving at the speeds they are travelling without wrecking in every turn.
