My truck is debadged except for the DMax plaques. Otherwise it looks like any other Chevy with a camper shell. It just doesn't stir people's ego juices and make them want to race. Mostly on mountain grades and that's about it.

Bud's go with the Honda reminded me of a Nissan Titan maybe two months ago. I'd pulled onto the 215 belt route in Salt Lake City and moved across to the fast lane. Slowing to about 65 for a car in front of me, some kid in a Titan came up and sat on my tailgate. Finally the guy in front moved over and I bumped it to about 75. The kid stayed right close behind. So I stomped it and just walked away from that thing....as if I'd gone when the light turned green and he hadn't. The DSP5 switch was on #4 everyday tune. At about 95 when I let off the Titan was a good 150yds behind. He finally caught up and came alongside before crossing over to an offramp. His head was turned but he was looking down and not at me. Seemed to be looking at the DMax badge. His mouth was dropped open and the expression on his face said it all.....it was "WHAT the hell is in that thing?" Priceless. He probably won't challenge any more DMaxes.

I cant stand the T owners. Never met 1 that was just a good ole boy. They are cocky fer some reason. Always given me the stink eye when I pass by, but Im in my car goin to work.. I havent had the chance to play with one in town, while in the truck. Saw one at the track the last time I went and he ran a couple of 9.7s in the 1/8th, then he dissappeared... think ill go roll around town now, ha
