The TIS process is the 'easy process' in all of this.
It's actually the extraction of the stock file and putting it into a usable format that poses the complexity.
The ECM needs to be removed from the vehicle, the ECM cracked open and hardwired to $10K plus Euro tools and the file extracted.
While you can do this for one truck and extract your stock tune...think about ALL the scenarios that exist out there. EFILive never takes the 'easy options' and makes customers suffer from these short comings. Consider the segment differences between OS's, consider vehicle options (fuel tanks come to mind in particular), and the whole level of complexity just snowballs.....
