Hey guys. I bought a truck and it had 31x12.50x20 tires on it. They are hitting my bumper only on the drivers side and hitting the body on both sides. What can I do to be able to run these tires and wheels. I have already installed new torsion keys. It helped quite a bit but not enough. Ruined my ride too. If I dropped down to an 18 inch wheel and put my stock torsion keys back on, what is the biggest tire I can run? Is there any tire size I can run with the 20 inch wheels at stock ride height? I'd really like to take my torsion keys out. Please help guys.

Are these 31's or 33's or 35's?

I ran a 285/55r20 (33x12) with stock keys all the way down and a 3 inch drop shackle with a fender mod and then didnt rub. My wheels were 20x10 with a -44 offset so the middle of the front tire was on the edge of the fender flares.

If there 31's and not clearing it sounds like a wheel offset issue what wheel are on there? Minor trimming might be needed I ran 33x12.5s on 16x10's on a 05 GMC with barely any trimming and dropped bars.

I have 265/70r17 now which are 31-31.7's with my 3/5 drop kit on 17x8 wheels and mine dont rub at all and I can even put a hand in between the tire and fender with the tire turned all the way.

31x12.5 should never rub? The wheels MUST BE STICKING WAY OUT to rub. I would look into another set of wheels, the ones on there now are probably meant more for a solid/ straight axel truck.
You need a mid drive wheel with a min of 4.5" of back spacing and a max of 5.75" to keep the rubbing from happening, or just start trimming.

I'm running 31 and mine is dropped down in the front and doesn't rub. I did have to trim the bumper alittle. But it's all in your offset to.

I run 285/50/20s with no rubbing issues at all, even when I have my torsion bars dropped at the drag strip i have no rubbing issues.

Not to beat a dead horse, but try to find out your offset/backspacing. There is no way a 31" tire should be rubbing if it had the proper offset.

I bought my truck, it came with 275's, no rubing. Stock hight, and filled the wheel well, I would guess there was 1/2 inch clearance or less though. One of the tires started to seperate, so I went with a 265.
