ok guys I'm looking to get a set of rims for my truck,i've decided on the style but kinda worried about the tire....I want more then stock of course I've been told a 285 will work but i'll have to trim or lift neither one is an option so I'm thinking about splitting the diff with a 265 will these clear everything? here is the rims I'm wanting

285's fit with just cranking the t bars up and very minor trimming on the lower valence. In that link you have 265/70r16 tires. I think most people do 265/75r16 tires. I would think those rims and tires would fit without a problem.:thumb:

well thing is I lowered my truck in the rear so lifting the front is not an option it sits exactly how I want it and yea I meant to show the 265/75/16 link lol

When I ran 265/70-17 (same height and width as a 265/75-16) on 17x8 rims with 4.5" back space I rubbed very slightly on the front valance. You may rub a little as well. You can get away with trimming the front valance just a little, it will barely be noticeable. I now run 285/55-20 on 20x9 with 5" back space. My truck is stock height.

Edit: There are pics of my truck in this thread: http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25283

Torsion bars raised about an inch, a lot of inner fender trimming, 4" drop shackles in rear for a total of 2" rear drop and 315/75/16. I set it up for 285s but haven't run across a deal yet. When I get new tires they'll be 285s and I'm going to lower the front down a little bit for more of a leveled look

Looks good!

I'm late to reply, but I ran that same wheel with a 265/75R16 10 ply A/T on our 2003 stock height 2500HD and only had to trim the lower valence a tiny bit. Easy peasy!
