I ran a best of 12.72 at 104.78 last season with 285-75-16 Cooper Discoverer ATRs onmy PYO's, I have since sold those wheels and tires, I want to go with the stock steel chrome wheels and use ATRs again, there are a set of 4 265-75-16's for sale pretty cheap on Craiglist that I was thinking of picking up, I mainly want them for plowing snow but I'd like to make sure they aren't going to screw me at the track, I have no issue buying the 285's again but I would take the 265's for the price.

Yeah I know but every set of PYO's I get are either junk already or end up being junk in no time New England winters are rough on them, I'm not feeling the black wheels but thanks for the offer.

the chrome probably wont last a whole lot longer... and they're literally like twice as heavy

Damn.........hoping these would be ok. I'm gonna try them but I guess they will be fine for plowing snow, I only plan to run a couple times this year anyway I guess it will tell how much it affects my time.

Well, I picked up some Dodge Alloys last night, gonna put 285 70 17 Hankook AT's on them for winter wheels, how do they compare to the PYO's as far as weight???

Eagle alloy series 102, i think they look pretty decent. They're 24lbs, but you can get them wider then the pyo's. You won't ever beat the pyo's for weight though. Factory pyo's are 17lbs a piece, and the steels are 35lbs!

my eagle 58s 16x8 weigh the same as yours, Ill sacrifice 7lbs a wheel for extra width.

I just got a set of the old style proxes in 265/70/16 off ebay for decent $$$ the guy still has some sets left.
