I want some new tires and rims and dont have a clue what will work on my truck. I probably want what I cant have but here it goes. I want to keep the diameter about the same as my 265's so I dont hurt acceleration, something wider also and enough side wall so it rides fairly good. I dont care what rim size, I guess the smaller the better for ride quality? I know I'm going to have to go above 16" there aren't any options for a wide low tire in 16".

look at pro comp 305 65 17 on fuel hostage wheels look good on white trucks. and my pro comp are amazing i beat them every day and have half tread left and little or 20k on them expensive but cheaper in long run. equal to 265 on 16 for rubber to wheel ratio and wider 32" tall 12" wide:thumb: my .02

I like the hostage wheels, tire size looks about what I'm looking for also. Wish I could see what they look like on a truck. The pics on websites seem to show an example of the tires and not actual sizes.

Backspace is the distance from the back of the wheel to the mounting surface. A higher backspace places the wheel further inward on the truck, making it easier to clear larger wider tires.

How about 305-60-18's? Will these be around the same diameter as 265-75-16? If they will work what back spacing should I get on 18 X 9 wheels?
