advance or retard timing on a scalable user input? Can EFILive do it?

Rather than use a DSP5 switch, I want a safe timing schedule, until the drugs kick in.

Alternatively, also thinking of relocating IAT sensor to post CAC location (LLY), and using IAT timing adjustment, already available in the software.

interesting thoughts... to answer directly, no i haven't but i have some gross ideas i have been playing with.

Come at it from the "other side". The controller side switching, i mean.

Take a look at the NX and NOS multi stage controllers and the programming/switching behind them. The NOS may be a better fit for an advanced user EFI guru. This i am not, I have been farting with it (EFI/Multi stage gas) for 4-5 months. I have the programming software for both system.

I think you'll need atleast a DSP 2 for a single stage, the more bottle you feed her the more base tune mod you'll need.

Hmm????? I wonder if it will read that high? I'd say it could be scaled to work. I may have to break out the drill tomorrow!!

I have read IAT of 243 F. I think it goes to 305.
