I have been trying to get some better fuel milage with my truck. I was reading another thread on here and it said to raise timing and fuel pressure. I have raise fuel pressure but have not been able to raise timing injection. When i logged my truck the first time the timin was higher than after i had raised it in the timing base tables. The timing dropped after i raised the numbers in the timing base tables. I raised every table also. Can anybody tell me what i am doing wrong.

Thanks Brian

Remember, there are multipliers for some tables like timing that can affect when the combustion actually begins.

Are you trying to do this on a stock tune or are you trying to modify another tune? If your trying it on a stock tune make sure you change torque based fuel tables etc.

Don't take this the wrong way, not trying to be rude at all, but are you sure you are changing the values in cells that are in fact being used while the truck is cruising?

I'd start over with a new tune using the stock tune. I like using the high altitude map with stock fueling and raising fuel pressure a bit. I'm not a great tuner by any means but ill help you all I can.
