First, I know I haven't been on here much, life has kept me very busy-and it looks like it will until next winter. However, it looks like I will be leaving the big, lifted CCLB fast diesel club. Sorry James it was a blast but looks like you are on your own again....but then again I might put a set of twins on the lifted truck and keep it just fast enough to be fun

I just bought a gutted out ECSB that weighed in at 5500lbs in it's previous running condition. I'm going to cage it, put pistons (I will be talking to Fingers very soon) and some more parts into my engine out of the CCLB, maybe a bigger turbo setup and 150% over sticks and see how far into the 9s I can go.

Sad thing is I know it won't see pavement until the spring of 2015, hopefully 9 seconds is still fast by that time...

Ruben I'm coming for you...

There's a beat single cab LBZ close to me I've had my eye on, I love my lifted truck, but to keep it real and really go fast, it's gotta be low....or at least stock height with the t-bars loose.

Sounds like you've got your work cut out for ya, a good plan and the excitement to pull it off:D
Pretty sure 9's will always be "fast" ;)

Keep us posted, and remember.....

I think you'll find running 9's isn't as is easy as you think.

John's red truck. Never said 9s would be easy, but I also had a lot of people tell me I would never run into the 11s in a lifted CCLB DD truck at 8000lbs that I could still tow with. It will probably take me until the end of the 2015 season but baring any unexpected deployments I plan to make a 9 second pass by the end of that year
