Tick?

Now that I have a built trans I am running some bigger tunes, in my top tune (450-500hp I would say) I have a really bad "tick" My lower tune is probably 425hp and it doesn't do it. Seems like an injector tick a little but why does it only do it in my top tune?

I've been having the same problem.
2 of my injector balance rates are high (+8 & +4) and am currently trying to isolate the problem.

Have you checked your balance rates?

mine ticks a bit as well, i always just thought it was the classic "typewritter" issuie

Balance rates are pretty good. Its a lot more constant the the "typewriter"

Valve adjustment maybe?

the valves shouldnt need to be adjusted unless you did head gaskets or what not..

Also sounds a little "rough" when I pull a large load at higher RPM's. How much work is adjusting the valves?

I would contact your tuner and see what they say about the tuning and the tick you're having on the bigger tune.
