Tial vs Synapse Wastegates

I have 2 40mm (non v-band) Synapse gates on my race truck and was thinking about giving the Tial a shot to see the difference.

Do anyone know if the 2 are interchangable considering the piping is already done? i would think they are but im not sure.

We swapped to tial from synapse on Sean's LBZ, but had to modify the piping a little as the dimensions of the gates are a little different.
