LB7: throttle jumping

for example.. if i pull to red light then stop but hit the pedal to scoot up a little the throttle will keep going kinda like a big lope about 2-3 times. it only did it once in a while before efi live. now its like everytime. any body have this problem?

Check your rail pressure around the idle area, also check to see if your pulse width was changed areound that same area. Make sure you don't change the throttle based injection quantity table in any of the "0" rows or columns.

ok ill check it and yea cause its been cold here with the blizzards we been having. n when i was stock it only did it rarley when only one start up when leaving drive way but ill check the rail pressure n see.

If everything checks out, the odds are that you have a bad FCA (or FPR as some like to call it). good excuse to upgrade to an LBZ regulator... :D

i do have dsp5 with one of they being a lope/smoke tune think that has somthing to do with it...i havent had time to check rail press. yet i been working but will soon.

I would look at the base comanded rail pressure table in the idle area of your tune. You have DSP5, does it do it in all tunes, or just one or two? This could be caused by a few cells in the rail pressure table being to high, or it could also still be caused by the throttle based injection quantity table. Take a look at these and let us know how they look.
