Looking at a few high mileage LBZs as possible daily drivers. 200+k on the clock. Anyone have any thoughts or personal experience on this? I have come across some good deals, but on the same note I drive about 25k mikes a year. So in 4 years the truck would have 300k on the clock.

Mine is at 254k and with regular maintenance all its life it is still going strong as a daily driver 120 miles per day. I'm thinking 400k+ is certainly no biggie

Mine has 220k on it, I service regularly but it has been beaten like a read headed stepchild since day one and has been tuned 500+ HP since 10k miles. Only work done has been a waterpump 15k ago and a glowplug here and there, lots of tires and a couple built trannys.

Mine has 320k+ on it and it is my daily/tow rig.

Bought it just shy of 300k and it was bone stock it's whole life. I've put a water pump in it because it was seeping. It got a built tranny and a pump rub kit about 5k miles ago. When Matt Woertz and I pulled it all apart everything inside the tranny and transfer case looked brand new (except burnt clutches). It needs injectors (high return rates after they are worked hard). I beat the shit out of things and I'm not scared of it. :thumb:

I have right at 200k on my LBZ and it's been great. Replaced a water pump at 190k, other then that it's been good.

The lly I just got has 235k on it and has only had a water pump and built trans done to it. I've seen ones at work with 135k that are beat and 300k plus ones that are cared for that I would rather take. It's all in how it's mAintained and driven I think.

We had one at work that had a little under 300K on it when we replaced it. Truck was never serviced properly and ran great.

Balance rates from earlier today. 390k and some change. Original from what i know.

Edit- not to hijack, but i bought truck with 330k on it as a fleet truck. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

218k on my work truck. my dad bought it new and I bought it off of him. no real problems, just the usual. glowplugs, waterpump, trans lines, and wheel bearings. and we have always used it to check gas wells, haul trailers, and drive through timber jobs
