Question: Thoughts on downgrading?

Any of you guys ever gone back generations? I don't dd my lmm anymore and can't really justify keeping it. I really only need a pickup for winter and farm duties and I don't really need this new or nice of a pickup for it. Ideally id find a nice regular cab or extended cab because it would probably be a lot cheaper and do what I need it to easily.
I really don't want to leave diesels because I do need the torque for towing and what not. Anybody do it or have any thoughts?

The last 3 trucks I've had were 1500s but a 08 avalanche '10 silverado '13 silverado, then I moved to CO for work and had to get a Dmax to pull a toy hauler, anyway I thought I'd be pretty depressed going to an 05 but I got fully loaded and that really helped, now I doubt I'll get rid of her even when I'm ready to get another truck... I know it's kind of apples to oranges but I have had NNBS trucks for a long time so I thought I would help a lil

ive thought about it a few times, but like tayler, my 05 is every bit nice enough for me.

Yea I mean when I think of an 05 pickup that's still pretty new to me but that's now a ten year old pickup lol. And I am more partial to the classic body style dmaxs anyways, I like the nnbs interior but If I deck out a different one I'd be just as happy I think
