I haven't driven her in 2.5 Years basically!!! SHe has been sittign up in various stages of work.. I put some jumper cables on her today for about 5 minutes and she errupted from the BACK 40!!!

I think it's time to throw some $$$ her way and get it back streetable!!

BTW: I'm losing 3" of lift and downsizing tires!!! I never planned to keep the 3" Body Lift, but never removed it!!!

WHAT YA THINK??? Needs a D-max I think!!!

Shooooo. You have lots of money!! So many toys.

Looks clean! Little tall for my tastes, I'm more of a practical lift type of guy. Much more than 6" seems like a waste to me except for show.

Wonder if that BL will work on my truck? Been thinking of doing one so I can run 35s. Hmmmm.....

Oh, and DEFINATELY needs a DMax!! Theres even a conversion guide for that model year.

Well it sits at 14" of lift now.. on 39.5" Boggers!!!!

Front:
4" ORU S.A.S Brakcets
6" Springs in front..

Rear:
4" ORD Chackle Flip
5.5" Springs...

1" ORD Zero-Rates frotn and rear..

3" Body Lift..

Body Lift and 1" Zero-Rates are going.. And 38.5-39.5" TSL's or SX's are going on it..

Then I'm comp. Cutting the fenders and making Full-length SLiders!!!

Nice looking truck. Based on the boggers and amount of lift, I'm guessing you like the mud? I can't tell for sure from the pics, is that a 60 in the front? Judging by the missing front driveline and hubs I'm guessing it is still in a build stage. I just finished parting out my CJ5 I was building. I wish I could have finished it, but it wasn't looking promising. Maybe if I was home and didn't have to worry about moving it when I leave here. Cool truck though. I've always loved that body style.

Actaully I hate the Mud...

But it's what we have here...

I'm losing the BL and perhaps 2" of lift!!

I'm tryign to keep the front fenders.. I have 52" Chevy rears for the fornt to replace the 47"ers under it..

I'll hoenstly be going to 38.5" SX'sagain and only have 9" of lift.. I'm bobbing the bed and comp. cuttign what isn't bobbed!!!

It's actually going to be a trail-truck when finished, but it's only about 60% throught the build. I left the Body Lift, so I can dre-clock my t-case or swap in the NP241J i have in lien for it!!

Here it was with 38.5's and IFS still..

Body lift on Dmax probably not a good idea, the radiator will be move up off the fan and would have to cut out the lower part of the fan schrod. I could see some overheating problems.

Not to take too much away from the topic but the folks I've talked to that have BL'ed an LB7 have had no heating issues. Insted of cutting the bottom out of the shroud, they typically use spacers between the upper and lower pieces.

I'll keep that note in mind though, should I go through with a BL some day. If it causes issues, thats the beauty of the BL, its cheap enough to take out and not be set back a lot of money. ;)

I agree the first and only time I took my Duramax off roading I dinged in the frame a little, bent the tranny support bar, and scratched off some of that spray on black rust preventive coating which in a few weeks caused my frame to rust. All of that was done in under 30 min I was quite stupid.
