Who wants to help me forge a way into the uncharted territory of twin turbo charging(off the stock charger) a 2.0 cr tdi, in a golf mk6? I have had a few feelers out there on vw/tdi forums, but they seem a little slack jawed in the performance department...so anyone want to have some fun over here? I'll post a couple pics of the engine bay, but from a laymen's perspective "it looks easy" a battery relocate is about all that looks like needs to really "happen" to make room. The rest looks pretty straightforward. Injectors are right on top....egr and dpf delete, exhaust, headstuds, bla bla bla... I want this pretty bad

The vw guys dont look at twin turbos the same wy we do, i think alot could be shared/transfered over, they(dmax, tdi) use commown rail fuel system, vvt, and egr systems, the big thing is tuning on the vcgs or vacgs whatever it is. Just no body in that realm has done a twin... im like wtf? Lets get an epr kit for the 2.0cr tdi:thumb:

There is a shop in surrey b.c called hpa said they could tune it. The whole thing is going to be a new frontier kinda deal. I may be the first to try this. I wasn't kidding about developing an epr kit, i need to give trent a call

the high pressure pump on the CBBA and the CBEA common-rail TDI's is literally an LML CP4.2 with one "cylinder" cut off. It looks just like an LML CP4.2.

The CR TDI injectors look identical to LML fuel injectors too...as does the fuel rail.

The starting goal here, is to basically gain the hp and tq the best tune can provide for these cars and get it by adding the twin and some more fuel. So at the begining it will be sane... there will be many obstacles, so really all i want to do is eliminate the lag and attain more efficient, drivable power, without maxing out the tuning. Then once the set up is in the engine bay and some r&d observed, i will try and squeeze some peak performance numbers out of it. I think for starters i'll just put some head studs in, the rods on the 2010.5 and up are for sure forged, and the euro gtd has forged pistons my euro source thinks, so there are some parts ro play with available, just slim pickins. The gtd gets a better manifold, head that flo's more and possibly forged pistons, and no egr. I think i will source parts from the gtd in the begining.

What year trial? How are you going to control the ecm? Vagcom can only do so much.

2011 vw golf 2.0 cr tdi clean diesel
4 door graphite blue metalic w/dsg auto and paddle shift
fully loaded, h&r sport cup kit, sway bars and wheel spacers
Soon to become a ttdi, sleeper
