Stumbled across this, just thought it was funny

"truthfully, the duramax is a bada** truck. i had an 06 LBZ and ran a 4 inch straight pipe, an air raid cai and EFI live on a 500 hp tune and got around 26 highway. the IFS is a strong front suspension, but prone to wear out parts. i bought mine with a 7.5 inch lift with 35s and later took the lift out and still was able to run the 35s fine. the duramax has far more potential out there for mods hands down. especially with EFI Live. i absolutely loved my duramax but am much more prone to the OBS Fords. if i were to look at a newer truck again i would pick the duramax, but would utilize my custom front end design that is far superior to what is currently on them. dont get me wrong, Fords are wicked in so many ways too. but the duramax is just wicked for too easy and little cost. so many people knock the allison tranny, but my allison was stock with a stock converter and i dynod at 837 rwhp and beat the crap out of that truck with no problems. i wish i could find the dyno sheet, but i have since re-located to a different part of the country and lost that paperwork. however i have many witnesses to how i drove my truck at the 837 rwhp with the stock tranny for 60k miles with no problems. im not trying to divert you either way, but there is a reason the duramax decimates all on the sled pulling and drag racing scenes. i love Ford Chevy and Dodge, each has their strengths and weaknesses no doubt. also towing around 12k, i never seen less than 17 mpg around 70 mph in my duramax. regards"

I knew you were thinking about abandoning the Duramax for a F***.

wonder if this guy even owns a diesel period... stock height clearing 35's "No Problem", stock trans holding 837hp, oh and 26mpg... wonder if that was with the 47 foot lift he removed to install his one of a kind super secret front suspension design.
