I think your right, straps would hold the front and back. It would have shot up about 4 inchs then came back down in the same spot I do believe

That would be scary. Our 14-71 Kobelco weights a ton! If i had to guess, couple hundred pounds. I'd seen that vid before, I think that poor fella got banged up pretty bad.
