gearbox that is... what is needed to put a split range tranny behind my duramax? just for the heck of banging gears, i really enjoy the shifting of driving big truck for my part time job but just not enough people hiring part timers lately so its either build my shot alli and keep it the way it is or try something new and feed my need to grab lotsa gears
heres my thinking so far--->
-need to have custom input made for transfer case and new drive shafts
-all crossmembers will need to be custom made and BEEFY
-06 lly zf-6 efi os to get past the alli codes
-thinking a 8.3 cummins flywheel housing machine and adapted to the proper bolt pattern of the duramax?
-cut a hole in the floor for the shifter and air lines
-remove the column shifter stuff.
-what input and output sensors need to communicate?
