depends on what you do with a sportster, them things are cool bike when making 110-120 horse. lots of power but light. i never liked them because i am 6'1 and i always see alot of women on them haha. but i am sure you can rock one:thumb:

Cool looking bike. I like the custom myself, but can't get that crazy red color from last year. I also like the new 5 spoke wheels. Everything I own has 5 flat spokes.:thumb:

I'm not much of a Harley person, (I ride an R6) but if I was going to get one it'd be a dyna street Bob. Those things are killer looking to me.

Nothing wrong with a Sportster. You buy what fits your need or wants. If your primarily riding solo you only need to carry a couple quarts of transmission fluid and you don't look like a buffalo riding a football it will fit the bill.

Also you probably haven't ridden in a while so it will be a great bike to get back into it and see if you still carry a torch for it with out dumping a lot of money!

You will enjoy it!
