thermo housing plug?

ok so besides brazing up the thermostat what is everyone using as a plug to block the hole for the turbo thermostat port. I cannot find a 30mm 1.5 threaded plug anywhere. I welded up the hole on my old steel housing however the van housing is aluminum and i dont really want to ruin it. anyone know were to get a 30 mm plug.
