Hey all, I guess Wolf and Bac your not the only ones. I was at home last night and my father in law called all out of breath and obviously discomforted about something. He said he was at his house (his old home that is vacant waiting for a buyer) to feed the psyco bird they have there and the front door was kicked open. When I got there we went through the house and cleared all the rooms then left. Unable to lock the door because the frame was all broken. I had my 4y/o with me and this is a very undesirable part of the city, so I told him we would fix it tomorrow night, meaning friday night. I went back there this am to make a list of stuff I would need and the door was wide open again. I was not going in alone so I left and called him. He said we will deal with it tonight.

As of yesterday they took some jewelery he had there and an older laptop computer. They rumaged through everything as the place looked like a bomb went off inside. Thankfully there isnt much in the house. My wife is all freeked now because they went through her room the most. Oh well, once I get done tonight they will have to go in through a window because it will be to much work to get in through the door ;)

Damn at least nobody was home. I'd be clearing rooms with 12ga in hand.

I feel for ya though. My buddy called me last night and told me scrappers hit my shop. Took an old chevy bed, my international grill and my F#?*! trailer ramps.
