Get someone to tune it that knows what there doing, keep the torque down and hang your favorite good luck charm on the rear view mirror. I get all my friends to circle my truck holding hands and praying every now and then I hope it helps but I've accepted the fact it could grenade any day.

Get bigger than 50hp injectors. I have DDP 100hp nozzles and still have 3000pw and make about 550hp. Get 40 or 60% overs

scherbs you're stock bottom end aren't you? who did your tuning?

yup.

nick but its honestly conservative tuning. I told him I didnt want max effort, just between 575-600. I could push it harder but for the extra 30-50hp its not worth the worry JMO. I intend on running this stock bottom end for as long as possible. 2+ years and everything (compression wise) looks great.

I rock 630hp 1300 tq on stock lly bottom end and no head studs.. Fleece tuned.. Never misses a beat.. U good

Cant trust dyno numbers. Whats the best time your truck has ran? 1300 ft lbs full fuel on bottom of the rpm range your rods will be short..

I'm making 650/1125 and mines lived for 2 years. I'm getting ready to pull the sticks back out and go with 100 over exergy. We'll see how hard we can push it.

I am in the same boat here with stock bottom end. I have several conservative dynos with 650 and also time slips to back it up. I just recently had Kory tune the truck and we both believe its worth another 100+ from what it was. I also added some meth to the mix for what it may or may not be worth. I will be dynoing again early dec to see where it's @ and drag racing ASAP! I also hope the bottom end will stay together for awhile but understand it is what it is........ Good luck:thumb:

I wish I could be in the 600 hp range. Shit I can't even hit 12's down the track. Probably gonna go with a different tuner either kory and mark and danville
